Super useful for stranded color work
I use these when knitting stranded color work and I think they make a noticeable difference. I have a really tight tension and these really help me make sure my tension and my floats are appropriate for fair isle. Definitely give these a try if your stranded color work seems too tight.

Good concept
Negative is there are no instructions on how it works. I did find on YouTube a good demonstration. Neither sizes fit me, one was to small the other one to big, so will pull out the pliers to see if I can make it fit. Looks so easy on Youthube.

A Huge Time Saver!
The media could not be loaded. I wasn't sure about this item until I purchased it and gave it a go.. This is a huge time saver! As u can see in the video I was able to easily adjust it to my liking.(Hint: Don't wash hands before trying to put on as I did in this video)I've learned if you lay 1 or 2 fingers in between the prongs to separate (open) before putting on, it does make it alot easier to put on for use.★★ Tip: If you tilt it more towards your middle finger, it'll create more tension in the yarn. If you prefer a softer tension then you'll want it rotate more towards the thumb side.★★I hope this helps

Just shy of working easily . . .
Great product idea, but in practicality they don't function well, at least not for me (full discolsure: I have large knuckles so it fits on my finger but butts against the second joint and just spins). If they had some flex to them, the ability to create some pressure on my finger - and thus stay in place - they would work wonderfully. As it is, it slides around moving quite a bit. I am using it and it makes knitting with two yarns easier than not using it, but I can't give it a glowing review. There are two sizes. The smaller one only fits my pinky finger (and I haven't figured out how to knit with it on that finger yet = ) If it helps: I am of average size, long slender fingers, and usually wear a size 8 glove.

Easy to use
This is a neat little gadget. I am in the process of crocheting an afghan and this little gadget makes the process a lot smoother. (This afghan is a pattern with a lot of changes.) I had no trouble adapting to this item and keeping the amount of tension I want is no problem. It fits on my finger nice and snug but is not uncomfortable and does not move or slide around. I am very happy with this item and would recommend it.

not what you think.
I tried to return these. Now I have an unusable item sitting around. They are three packages each package contains the same thing. two sizes. so you end up with three of one size and three of the other size. Not what you think you are getting. The holes for the yarn is way to large to allow any tension control. They are guides more than anything. They are too large on one finger too tight on the other and so unusable. They ar emade of study metal. THe company was fast at returning my money.

Worth using
Although there weren’t any instructions on the easiest way to use, I still gave a 5 star. Definitely a product that has helped save my hands. I do a lot of crochet and have a tendency to hold the thread tightly.

Spring for the slightly more expensive version
I wanted to try a Norwegian knitting thimble for two color stranded work, and although the recommended brand was only six dollars, I cheaped out when I saw this six pack with variable sizes for almost the same price.Unfortunately, the minor differences between them turn out to be the difference between usable and not.The smaller size was too small, and the larger size was too large. The instructions to use wire pliers to bend it to fit is useless- first the wire is so strong even with wire pliers and jewelry pliers I barely budged the direction of the yarn feed loop. Secondly, there is no way to actually change the shape of the tube/body to fit you. I tried bending to open the smaller one, or clamping down on the larger to no avail. Most importantly, the body is the same diameter on both ends. The Dritz version is a graduated tube- wider at the base and narrower at the distal end so it sits snugly. Even though the Dritz is a little big for me I can snug it in place because of the cone design. (Tip- I made a felt collar to go under it which helps it sit closer to my fingertip)Get the Dritz instead.
