My neck is fine and I don't need the support that this collar provides. What I do have is severe sleep apnea which requires that I use a full face mask. When I wear the collar at night, it keeps my lower jaw from opening and prevents my head from slumping towards my chest. As a result, I get a good night's sleep with no apnea "events" and minimal air leakage from my mouth. I've tried elastic straps and other gadgets to prevent air leakage but none of them even come close to the effectiveness of this neck brace. My primary care physician is impressed with my repurposing the neck brace and encourages me to keep using it as long as I continue to get excellent results.

Ive seen these neck braces for $30+ and I cant imagine they would be any better than this brace. It's easy to wear. and my pillow app tells me that I am not snoring as much.

I have neck issues and I wanted something to wear around the house and while watching TV that would keep my neck in a properly aligned position, but this is extremely stiff which is uncomfortable, and the worst aspect is that the space between the top of my neck and my collar bone isn't long enough, or big enough to wear it without it kind of choking me. In other words, it's made for people who have very long necks! UPDATE: But, the reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the company contacted me after my 2 star review and insisted on giving me a full refund! So, I have to say that their customer support is wonderful and that stands for a lot.

I believe that this collar is meant for juveniles. It's thinner than a medical grade one. The size caused me to choke as it was too narrow. The strap to close it was sewed on the wrong side. It continuously scratches your neck

I travel frequently for business, and the search for a perfect travel pillow has led me to take a shot on a lightweight cervical collar approach recommended by some travel vloggers instead. This was exactly what I needed! Far more supportive than even the most high-end travel pillow while taking up much less space and still very lightweight, this is ideal for long flights where a travel pillow just doesn't quite offer enough chin support. The foam still has some give, but it does a fantastic job of positioning the head so the awkward nod of drifting to sleep doesn't disturb neighboring seats. The fabric is pleasantly soft. If you're not comfortable with slight pressure around your neck, you might not enjoy this approach, but once you're used to it, it's hard to go back to the regular style squishy horse shoe travel pillow design. Pay close attention to your neck circumference when picking the right size, you might benefit from going a size up if you're on the edge of the size range. This has earned a treasured place in my carryon from now on.

Have nerve problems and disc disease in my neck and I hoped to be able to sleep with no pain of pinched nerves but it is not possible. Might not be able to correct without surgery. It felt good but it did get extremely hot and I did start to sweat in just a few minutes. I don't think that it's comfortable without a place for the chin. It will hold the neck but it gets so very hot. At least if you don't have a very long neck it will fit but it's not very comfortable at all.

Adequate for minor discomfort. But I would not recommend for use after surgery.
