I bought this as a gift for my friend, she remembered fondly her grandma having one and she loves it.

This was purchased for my mother to replace a dome mantel clock whose glass had broken and the clock had become damaged.The clock was of the perfect size and the plastic dome was much better than a glass one. The clock was far more quite than my mothers previous one, which she really liked. My mother was really pleased with this clock.

Feels flimsy, but looks stylish once set up. The battery is a nightmare to get in - that's once you work out where to actually put it! The instructions are well nigh useless, even if you can understand them (they are sort of in English). Other than that, it does look aesthetically pleasing on top of my bureau and seems to work well enough. Bottom line: you get what you pay for.

Nice little gizmo. Hadn’t got a clock on the lounge mantelpiece and this is neat. Quiet, accurate and not expensive for the look.

It was not fit for purpose (in my environment) as the ceiling light reflected on the glass dome such that I could not read the time from my settee, 3 metres away. Also the optional tic was too loud but silencing it stopped the attractive swinging pendulum.
