Amazing little big ice cube tray!!!
Makes 6 fairly large, but not over-sized ice cubes that are easy to extract from the rubber mold. 1) There's the holding tray for housing your blue ice cube mold. 2) The actual blue rubber ice cube mold for making your ice cubes. 3) The cover that goes on top of everything to keep the water from spilling out so you cantransport the unit into the freezer. What's great about this item is that the ice cubes are nice and big and easy to extract from the mold. They fit most glasses, even tall and narrow. Because the cubes are fairly large, they last much longer and you don't need as many. Our fridge's ice cube maker hasn't worked the day we bought the refrigerator. We will not buy another fridge with ice maker ever again. We also don't like buying bagged ice because the ice eventually freezes together and a third of the bag becomes useless. The bagged ice also takes up considerable room in our freezer. We liked the first tray we got so much, we purchased a second one so we could make a dozen at a time. It does take longer to freeze them because they're bigger, but after we make a dozen or so, we don't care how long it takes because we just reach in the bucket we put them in and use them for whatever we need them for. OXO makes pretty decent stuff too. We've bought other kitchen items from them and so far have been happy with our choices. If you're tired of dealing with little cubes and the hassle of storing them, then this may be the item that changes all of that.

Many Uses for these Handy Trays
These are very useful beyond simple ice cubes. Foremost, it should be noted that these are LARGE cubes. That's a good thing if that's what you're looking for, but should be noted if you're looking for tiny cubes. So what can we do with these LARGE cubes? My favorite use for them is to make frozen cubes of the my heart beets Indian food cooking recipes found online. Make a bunch of cubes, freeze, and then pop a few into each dish for quick and easy (and delicious!) Indian meals. Add one of these presses (https://amzn.to/45sN1gx ) and some quality cheesecloth and make your own paneer! Super fun, super easy, super delicious! That said, for their stated use of ice cubes, these are quality trays. Super sturdy, stackable, and the lid makes it really easy to transport around the kitchen with minimal spillage. Another good grips product for the win!

Awesome big sized cubes!
These are some pretty nifty silicone ice cube trays. If you prefer bigger chunks of ice, this is the ice tray for you. And the fact that they're uniform in size is an even bigger plus. I put 2 of these big bad boys in my 30 oz. RTIC cup and it lasts me most of the day, even with refills.PROS: Because it's silicone, these types of trays (in my opinion) from what I've read need support and this one has it and it's very well designed. The holder is durable and solid, with a lid that actually works and does what it's intended to do. It's very compact and goes easily into even the smallest places in your freezer. Because it has a lid *and* a solid bottom, you can stack stuff on it or put it on top of something else (as long as it lays flat). The lid helps prevent spills but is not completely leak proof so you don't want to go tumping it around. It makes very nice large square cubes but if you use a lot of ice, you'll want to get 2 sets of these trays.CONS: This is my first experience with silicone ice trays so I'm not sure if all silicone trays are this hard to get the ice out of, or if it's just this model. Of course, if you let it sit out for about 15-20 minutes, it's easier but sometimes I don't have the time to do that and I need the ice out of the tray pronto. There have been quite a few times where I have to try and peel the tray back from the cube and fight with it to release from the tray, especially the corner pieces. The cubes don't just pop right out when you twist the tray like it does with traditional plastic trays, you have to work at it to make them come out. So not a good fit for someone with arthritis, unless you have the time to let it sit out and melt a bit before you try and take the cubes out. It can get a bit frustrating.Basically these trays have all the features that I wanted in a silicone tray and it's well designed with high quality materials. The only thing I think they could make better is to have the tray release the cubes more easily. I haven't tried using these to freeze anything else cuz I love using it for the ice cubes so much but you can also use these to freeze other things, like baby food, desserts, making pops with, etc. I looked at some of the other cheaper silicone ice trays and decided to spend a bit more on a brand that I'm familiar with due to the features it had that the others didn't. And I'm glad I made that choice. Cheaping out on this would have been a mistake. Just my 2 cents' worth ... ;-)

NICE CUBES!
I once had some of the Ice Ball makers and they were not worth the effort that it took to use them. So, I started looking at big cubes. There are several brands out there to choose from, but Oxo typically has a good reputation. I was particularly drawn to this product because it makes 6 cubes (most make 2 or 4) and because it has a hard case that is stackable. So far, I am very pleased. I have two of these and with distilled water they make perfect, crystal clear, GIANT ice cubes. This goes great with a rocks glass and some Bourbon. It can be difficult to get the cubes out of the tray; especially if you keep your freezer as cold as mine. However, if you let them sit at room temperature for a couple minutes; then you can pop the cubes right out. I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought a second one a few days later.
