Very good colour. I used a No.12 watercolour paintbrush instead to paint this unit. It was a lot smoother than the paint brushes you can get from local hardware.I did not sand the unit, just wiped it. I used a little water to complete the first 2 coats. The final coat was applied directly.

The color is a deep dark green, perhaps like an emerald or moss green. Someone in the reviews has posted a picture of it. The color in itself is good but not what I was looking for. I wish proper pictures of swatches and products painted by these paints was posted too by the company. It's a big loss to buy and not be satisfied with the color. Other than that, it's a fine product. Yes chalk paints are expensive, but I've used them earlier for wooden furniture and believe me, a little goes a long way is an understatement.

Absolutely Loved it, Easy to use and bright colors.

Quality of paint is good but the shade is very very light. I got white and grey. After painting you can't really find the difference between the two. The colored shades are 70% lighter than shown in the reference pictures. Little disappointed.

I used this to paint a clothes/accessories stand in my bedroom. The stand is made of engineered wood, as far as I can tell and it had an unappealing finish, which I wanted to change. This fit the bill. I like the matt finish this paint provides.I needed to use about two coats and that did the job fine. It has been three months since and there has been no flaking, peeling or any such trouble with the paint.I'm not sure this is midnight black, though. For me, the results seem like it's one notch below 100% black. I don't mind either way, but if you're looking for a jet black paint, you might want to double-check.
