Works like a charm!
I purchased this in Sept 2024 and it's still going strong in June 2025. Installation is easy (just watch a YouTube video). Definitely works as intended for the cost. I didn't notice any sort of odor.Something to note, my thermostat was also blown. I had replaced it with the one that came in this parts kit despite it saying it wasn't compatible (although it was similar) and it worked like a charm.

Good for what it is!
Look. This thing is $16. The OEM part is $85. My fridge lasted 15 years before the heater broke. I bought this to tide me over for a few months while I look for another one. It does its job. If you’re in a similar situation, get this. If you want it to last a long time, get the OEM part.

Effective and great price!
Awesome, came.in quickly. And we fixed our refrigerator in 2mins. Great product. 👍 and super cheap compared to some stores. One store qouted us $70 for the part. Not even the day of. We got it on Amazon for 15? And delivered the next day. I'd say this was a win!

Great value
These don’t have threaded closures, they snap shut- that is something that absolutely needs mentioned in the heading, because normally, perfume sample sprayers screw shut.I will have to test for leaks but aside from that, they are actually okay ( I make duplicate perfumes and think these actually look okay as sample bottles). If they don’t leak, I will definitely purchase again!

This Kit Saved The Day!
I have an old refrigerator in my garage that has been acting up. Items in the freezer were thawing out and I noticed that the coils in the back were all frozen. I knew it was one of the three items. Rather than test each one to figure it out, I just bought this kit for a fair price and replaced them all. Freezer is working great again. It was super easy to install. I will say this is the second time I bought this kit and that was about 2 years ago so for $16… I think that’s a pretty decent quality if you ask me.

Will get you by for a short while. Not a good fix.
Didn't last very long. Stock part made it 15 years. This only lasted a year... probably less. Too bad it's one of those thing that you don't know how long it's been out because it all depends on how fast the ice accumulates and how soon you actually notice the fridge isn't as cold as it should be.

Fits and works well
It is a good fit for my GE Monogram side by side Refrigerator. It also appears to work well because after replacing both the defrost heater and the defrost thermal sensor, the refrigerator works well.

Prefect fit and price.
Perfect fit and works great. I was shocked that most of the online "appliance parts" places are selling just the heating element for $90+... insane.
