An outstanding epilogue!
Rika has survived the Summer of 1983.She and her friends are enjoying their summer. She has a vast future ahead. Racing on a high, Rika bicycles ahead of her friends. Nothing will stop her from having a happy life.Except that truck coming around the bend right at her.Unable to swerve, Rika is hit. Killed. She finds herself in a new world. One where the dice have rolled high for everyone. So high, that Takano never even had to come to Hinamizawa to finish her grandfather's research. Nothing is like Rika remembers. None of her friends are who they are. She is stuck in a world where everyone is happy but her.She has to find out a way to get back, but to do it, she'll have to cross a line. Will she do it?What a fascinating way to end the story. I never read this ARC. I foolishly thought the story was over. This epilogue is an interesting exploration on the duality of Rika. She is at once Rika Furade, a young girl, but also Frederica Bernkastel, a witch who has lived through hundreds and hundreds of life, a soul older than any around her save Hanyuu.Every time Rika gets to start over, she rewrites the Rika who lived in that universe. She becomes someone new, and is that fair? What has this done to her? How can she go forward with this dual personalities. It's a great exploration of this character at the end of her story. For fans of Higurashi, this was a great conclusion to the series! I loved this universe and am sad to see it end!

Good wrap up
Hmmmm... the book plot embraced cliched themes. But they because this is higurashi, the themes became higurashi. It wraps up the series nicely while explaining key concepts for those still unaware. Like who is Federica? If you are a dedicated fan, it'll be an worthwhile read and time we'll spent

One more once
A mini-arc of sorts, but a strong conclusion to the Higurashi series. Though it takes place after what most would call the true ending, it is very pertinent to closing out the development of Rika's character. Please do consider giving it a read. Translation is very good, as usual.

This Arc gives us more insight into Rika Furude and her struggle while at the same time forcing her to make a great decision abo
As with the series in general this manga is much more fleshed out than the OVA which covered this Arc. This Arc gives us more insight into Rika Furude and her struggle while at the same time forcing her to make a great decision about just what she considers to be her ideal world to live in.By this point in the series and given the nature of this arc it's hard to write a full review without spoiling the entire series mystery.

Wonderful Epilogue to Higurashi
One of my favourite higurashi arcs, this wraps up rika’s character arc perfectly. The book was in great condition, and i’m glad that i didn’t have to pay like 100$ for it as wtc manga is pretty rare to find.
