HQMPC Garden Hose Quick Connector ¾ inch GHT Brass Easy Connect Fitting (5SETS)

I'm very impressed by the smooth machining and heft of these connectors. After using expensive Gardena hose fittings for many years and suffering from their continual breakages and leaking these inexpensive parts were a real breath of fresh air. They snap together firmly and show nary a drop of leakage even on an outside tap that has unregulated 80+PSI pressure present. The solid metal is just that -- solid. It is a bit like sorting out the garden shed and finding a hose nozzle that belonged to your great-grandfather and realizing that it still works perfectly and will likely outlive you too.

tried this on one of my outside hose faucet connections. Figured it would be good to disconnect hose any each use when used during the winter (this faucet is fed from inside the basement, never freezes). I hand tightened then wrench tightened. First time I used it I saw a little water bubble out from the faucet side connection. Next time I saw water spray out of the two quick connect pieces. I want to re-seat the connection and try again. I bought this set based on the perfect reviews... sorry I'm taking that down a notch. If I have better luck (maybe in the spring), I'll certainly come back to update this.update 11/29/2018 - I removed the piece from the faucet and found that the rubber washer actually worked its was into the faucet itself. I pulled that out and then substituted a round (tube) washer I had bought to solve some leaky hose joints. I also added some plumbers tape on the faucet threads. I reattached the quick-connect piece, tightened with a wrench and then connected a hose with nozzle. Turned on the water and everything looked fine. Hopefully this resolved the prior issue and I'll deploy the second unit next spring on another outdoor faucet.

Couldn’t find quick connects without the auto shutoff in my local hardware stores. Needed this type because it reduced my water flow to my pressure washer and these bad boys work great.

The heavy duty brass construction means these aren't going to fall apart like the aluminum alternatives. It's been a few months and so far so good.

Been using them a few weeks on my garden hose and power washer. No leaks at all, and very easy to swap from one attachment to the next.

No drips, no leaks, a quality machined piece, I use this outdoors in freezing temperatures with no problems.
