This Himalayan pink bathing salt smells strongly of Cedar wood scent. I like Cedar wood Essential oil for a man's soap but to me, it smells a lot like dirt with just a hint of Cedar tree. It's not really the pleasant scent that you get when opening a cedar chest. I dissolved some of the salt in a glass of hot water just to see if it would dissolve completely and it did within about 10 minutes. Since most men don't take baths with bath salts, at least none I personally know, I'll use most of this canister of Himalayan salt in some of my batches of soap for men.

I prefer these bath salts in my foot massager. I have used them in the bath and to me the salt actually makes my skin feel drier. However when I put them in the basin of my foot massager, I like them much better. They don’t really smell great but the smell isn’t terrible either. Overall, they are ok. But I still order epson salt

This is the worst bath salt product I’ve ever tried. Do not buy it. Like some comments say, it leaves a yellow sticky residue that will stay on your skin and stain your tub (which is a nightmare to clean).

I don't love the cedar fragrance but I can see how some people might like it a lot.

Leaves a very difficult to clean orange pink residue everywhere. It’s oily and takes 30min to clean up, hard-scrubbing the tub walls to get the sticky oily orange residue off. Would not buy again.

These are very nice and we have enjoyed using them.

I love having baths and often have back pain since I work long hours in front of a computer as a graphic designer. Tonight I had a pretty bad migraine and decided that was an excellent time to try my new bath salt. I soaked for about an hour while waiting for my migraine meds to kick in and by the time I got out, I felt a billion times better. My back feels better than it has in months, and my skin feels so soft and smooth. The smell is very pleasing and is not over powering. For times when I want to relax and stay awake, I leave the light on and read a magazine. But when I really want to relax I turn the light off and lay in the dark. It makes me very relaxed!!. It is very effective, I recommend.

This has a very odd, chemical smell to it. I am very disappointed but will have to throw it out.

I like the smell , the healing properties.I have used this product 3 times so far and all 3 times the salts did not completely dissolve, leaving granules in the bath tub after bath, as well as the discomfort of this while bathing was annoying.
