Repeater Store's fantastic customer service and the 15K is great product
I don't give many reviews and when I do they aren't influenced by promotional giveaways. I never received any such incentives for this review. This review is for the Hiboost 15K amplifier as well as the seller RepeaterStore. Both get 5 stars, especially the customer service of the RepeaterStore. This was my 4th attempt over the last couple of years at boosting my cell service with an amplifier and external antenna. Those other amps ranged in price from $140 to about $500. None of them worked, at all. My rural property is surrounded by forested hills and no cell provider shows any kind of decent coverage near me. I get texts and can occasionally make short calls in only one location of my house right in front of an upstairs window. No signal is received outside my home except a small amount up on my roof. When I used signal locator apps like Open Signal to find my signal strength my dbm readings were consistently between -117 and -123 for 4G LTE, but usually if I got any signal at all it was 3G (HSPA) readings, though they were a little stronger ( about -110 dbm). In the process of talking to the RepeaterStore (tech folk and sales associates alike) they were incredibly helpful and patient at answering my questions over a series of call-backs. They narrowed down my choices of booster by asking a series of questions like what my signal readings were, to how much area I wished to cover, and what band/frequency my signal was being used on. They give other assistance as well like tips on measuring the SNR (signal to noise ratio), and what type of antenna was best. Since I was near the extreme end of poor signal reception they were hesitant to even sell me a booster, not wanting me to have the hassle of another returned product. It goes to show you their integrity, not just trying to make a sell, but rather concerned with customer's needs. When I asked how they would assist me after the purchase if my whole house did not get coverage they said they would amend the order and send out (for the appropriate respective cost) extra antennas, splitters, wire, etc. I am still in the early stages of fine-tuning my setup, but with their responsive customer care, which boasts of free lifetime technical support, I'm confident that my whole house application will become completely successful. As for the 15K booster performance. I now get coverage near the indoor antenna (within 6-8 feet) that equates to -80 to -90 dbm signal strength, where I got ZERO dbm before, and in that wider area of my living room floor I am able to get 1-2 bars at the far-end of the area (about 25-30 feet away). This enables me to stream SD video, though it takes awhile to load, and a variety of other internet and cellular applications (email, text, chat, etc) that I was unable to do before. After a little longer period of testing to ensure it will reliably meet my data needs I may be able to cut the cord to the awful satellite internet data provider which throttles my data usage after 5GB. That is a savings of $65/month (which pays off this unit in only a year). We may also get rid of the landline, which is another $50. If you are in an area that has poor signal quality (1 bar or maybe less) but have at least *some* signal (mine was 115-120) then this may give you at least some cellular connectivity.

Not 15000 sq in my house
Placing the antenna in the center hallway of a mostly block wall house, gave me the same marginal signal inside as outside when right under it. I got a marginal but useable signal as long as I used my phone while outside the bathroom door (where the antenna was). If I moved away from the antenna to where I wanted a reasonable signal, the level dropped too low. I contacted the vender about extra antennas and was told that putting more antennas in would weaken the signal but spread it out more, so everywhere would be marginal. I think this thing will cover 15000 sq ft if it is an open space or the walls are thin drywall but I dont have that in my house. Think carefully about where you are going to install this until if you want to buy it.

Don't waste your time with anything else
I have tried several cell signal booster kits and they don't have everything needed to make it work in one package. They all have similar features but not all of the features that this product offers. I bought the 15K kit because the distance to the cell tower from my location was not only quite a distance of several miles but also a lot of obstruction in between (deep forest of Northern California). The specs on the 15K kit gave the best gain performance and I didn't want to chance using anything less given my experience with some other lower price booster kits.I fiddled around with three different booster kits until I purchased this product and I wish I had never done anything but get this kit from the start. The other kits are mysterious with little feedback other than one or two blinking LED with poorly translated documentation. It's not that they won't work, but it's hard to understand what to do when they are not working, especially in an extreme condition like mine. The performance with the lower priced products was spotty and hard to diagnose because of this. Some of the reality of those products is when used to their maximum performance cases, they lose signal fidelity and cause the communication with the cell tower to be reduced to slower transmission speeds. The HiBoost is a higher quality product that doesn't have that problem and also does a better gain control operation. Basically, I did a test install of the HiBoost, and it performed amazingly and way beyond the other products I had tried. The LCD screen doesn't have all the information but is actually quite useful; let's you know what the booster is doing. I found cell signals that I hadn't known were there. What a keeper! I immediately did a permanant install and boxed the other stuff I was using. Wish I could return those other products.Somethings to also consider when looking at this product. I really liked the antenna options that came in this particular kit and i think one of the biggest factors to a kit's success is the outdoor antenna. This kit had an antenna that was more directional than the other kits I used previously and i makes a difference; having the best antenna outdoor greatly improves a system's performance. This kit also does a wide range of frequencies and this is really important when dealing with obstructions in the line to the tower. The higher frequency signal is used, the less affected it is by objects such as trees. Having the wide variety of signal frequencies also gives more tower options. Lastly, this kit has better documentation and a really good website right in the USA. No wonky translations.I love this kit.

Worked very well
What a pleasant surprise. Moved to a new home where I needed to be outside in my driveway to get a decent signal. Nothing indoors except for by the window of my master bedroom. Installed the Hiboost unit temporarily as there is construction being done and now I am getting 103db in my kitchen without even positioning antenna for optimal results. Ordered a splitter and extra antenna to maximize coverage throughout the house and hopefully the basement. Worth the money. Now my family and guests can make and receive calls

Great for Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile
This was for work place. I couldn't get a good signal in the middle of the building. With HiBoost F20G-5S-LCD, now I can get very strong signal in the middle of the building. I tested it and was able to verify that the signal for Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile was quite strong now. However, it did not improve anything for Sprint.Perhaps it is using a different band where I am, Chicago suburbs. Because most people uses the three carriers it supports, I am happy with the purchase.
