I have Colitis, mine was so bad I almost died in hospital when I had a major attack. Sense I have had my attack 7 years ago I have to watch everything I eat, and I soon find that everything no matter what I eat makes me sick I was lucky in one aspect that I never had gotten internal or external hemorrhoids like lots of people get, than 7 years latter I believe I started to get "internal" hemrioids, not sure because I stopped going to my doctor only because some people with Colitis have lots of health issues and it gets old.I started to research hemorrhoids and kept finding out one of the possible causes was lack of fiber so I decided to order this for the fiber and give it a try, within a week the extreme pain I was having went away. Now I have to say I am not positive they were any kinds of hemorrhoids because as I said my colitis is bad and always will be. I eat healthy but jut about everything makes me ill so this was just one way to get fiber without eating something that could make me ill.I gave it 5 stars even though I agree with people that it is a bit expensive, but think about it, going to a doctor would have cost me much more money and my doctor would have said give it a try it might work and it did, so when you look at going to the doctors over given this a try, than I say it i very inexpensive and worth a tryThe flavor is orange it taste fine, it thickens up so I suggest you use 8oz of water as instructed in the directions and keep a spoon in the cup because you will want to keep steering the drink and you will want to drink it all in about a 1-5 min so it does not thicken up too much, also I drink mine just before I go to bed and I think it works better while I am sleeping but not sure.

It's true.... Sometimes people just don't read product info carefully enough. This is six, (6) ounces... Not the 23 Oz... 114 dose dose amount. I bought it because it's the perfect travel size. I'm always looking for some Tupper ware container to use when traveling... What a pain. This will suit your needs if you're looking for a small travel size Metamucil. Same great stuff... It just packs in duffel bag better..

This is a great product. As long as you drink a glass every day, you will be regular with the added benefit of not fully absorbing all the harmful things we maybe selfishly eating.

Dr. prescribed. Had to buy. Tough at first but now getting use to it. It has been prescribed before & wasn't happy. Now I am older & really need it.

Even though it was a fast delivery it was way too expensive and had sugar in it as well as citrus fruit which I can't eat. I didn't notice the ingredients before I bought it. I don't remember being this being well displayed. I didn't use any of it, I gave it away.

I would get this product if you have tummy troubles like I do. was having a lot of them and this made me feel better-I have been using this product for over a year and won't do without. see your dr if you have troubles but if all is fine and you need a product to get you going this is it. great for fiber issues.

I didn't expect such small containers! No wonder the price seemed so good. But I already knew that Metamusil was great!
