Hi the straps are quite stretchy so i would imagine you would be ok , i ordered this for my daughter, shes a 8 and size wise i would say its accurate, not sure how the other sizes fair , but i have to say she loves it,

Sorry the waist girth for the largest size is 38 inches.

As your infomation, you can take a size 14, the strap is not a problem because it is elastic.

Q: what is the waist measurement of the size XL (UK 20)?

I have just measured mine and it's 18 inches when measured on a flat surface, but when stretched on a flat surface it can stretch up to 22 inches. Hope that's helpful :)
