Philips Sonicare 9000 Special Edition Rechargeable Toothbrush, Black/Purple, HX9911/91

I have been using the toothbrush for about a week now and I am very impressed! The toothbrush and charging port are so cute, which sounds silly, but makes my sink area look much better. I was using an oral B electric toothbrush from CVS before, and I have to say that after just the first use I could feel the difference clearly. The bristles vibrate instead of spin which was a little odd at first but easy to get used to, and it is much more gentle on the gums. The tongue brush is so fun to use and much easier than brushing with the bristles. Super happy with my purchase!

I hadn’t had any cavities since I started using a Sonicare brush 10 years ago. I don’t floss my teeth and yet when I go to the dentist they always comment on how awesome I do at flossing.Due to eating ice I cracked a tooth. After using this brush for 3 days all the rest of the teeth in my mouth feel as slick as that brand new crown they just put in.I really like how this has 2 buttons, one for mode and one for power, the older models this was kind of frustrating to change modes while it was in your mouth.The ability to connect it to your phone so far for me has been less functional that it sounded. It sounds really cool and it does work awesome, but all it tells me so far is that I do great job brushing. It does tell my wife she doesn’t use enough pressure.

I originally got the champagne 9900 prestige but it was honestly too intense for my teeth even in the lowest settings. Felt like it was rattling my skull so I switched to this one and it had all the features I wanted of the prestige without the crazy intensity. Been using it for the past 3 months and it is great, have only charged it once or twice since purchasing it. Someone mentioned the buttons aren’t seamless like the prestige but cleaning it out every so often so residue doesn’t build, isn’t hard or a nuisance at all. The acrylic stand is better than I thought and easy to clean. Half the price of the 9900 series but worth it in my opinion since the Sonicare app is still finicky not always connecting to the Bluetooth of the 9900.
