Excellent build quality but lacking elsewhere
Samsonite is a great brand and it shows in the quality of the product, but for me, they didn't quite hit the mark.Purpose of this purchase was to buy a smaller backpack that looked more profressional than my current one but could fit the same gear. My current backpack is much larger but has tons of wasted space and is just a little too big. This bag looked to fit the bill as it is only half an inch less wide and roughly the same width. So I thought I should be able to fit everything in comfortably which is basically just a portable monitor, small mini windows laptop, MacBook Pro, a few adapters, a power plug, a notepad and pens. I would call this a pretty standard work setup apartment from the second laptop and maybe portable monitor (although in my fieild I think almost everyone has them).First point to note is that the bag is very rigid, so although I could fit everything in, it felt as though it was bursting at the seams which is a little surprising given that isn't that much smaller than my current bag. Zero flexibility in the bag.Secondly, because of this rigid structure, the pad at the bottom of the bag at the back was insufficient to prevent is "cutting" into me so was very uncomfortable.Lastly, I think some design features weren't quite thought through such as the holes within the bag to put a cable through to charge your phone or iPad or whatever but yet there is no placeholder for a powerbank or no hole to bring this cable to the exterior of the bag so that you can charge your phone while walking and using it.So basically it is a bag that is 75% of the way there. Not bad, but could easily be a lot better.

Reports of a bottle holder seem much exaggerated
Nice looking, solid, well made…but I bought it to be healthier as my existing bag can’t accommodate a water bottle. The details say there is a bottle holder among the exterior features but I can’t find it (if anyone wants to point it out to me aid be delighted - if it’s the compartment on the side under the address tag you’d need a very small bottle indeed to go j to it).My wife has a Samsonite that does have a water bottle holder; she uses it frequently and it still looks new after several years which is why I was confident spending so much money. But unless I can find the bottle holder this one’s going back I’m afraid.

Great backpack for the commuting professional
I recently purchased this as I wanted a well made backpack for commuting, one that could store everything I needed for the day as safely as possible. This does all that and more, with lots of different compartments, nice security features, great padding (for you and your belongings), and to top it of looks professional (something backpacks rarely achieve).Usually I'd have knocked a star off for the value, however I managed to get it at its lowest ever markdown, so with the quality build of the backpack I'm confident it will last a long time and prove value for money (even at 3 figures).

Quality Samsonite
Normal Samsonite quality. Loads of space. The shoulder straps are really well attached to the body of the bag and super comfortable when wearing. This is a really sturdy, quality made bag which is designed clearly for a need to carry multiple items and it does exactly that.

Brilliant Backpack
I own a North-face Borelais and wanted something with more structure to keep myself organised. This bag ticks all the boxes due to the multiple internal pockets and is even able to stand up by itself. The expandable element is fantastic, as this allows me to keep options open should I need to carry more items.I did debate with the 17inch expandable but truthfully, the extra side and top pockets did not seem worth the cost, plus once a 15inch is full, it is pretty heavy, so never mind a full 17inch bag.Word of advice: keep an eye on the listing as the price fluctuates a lot.

Great business backpack
Highly recommended. Using it for my new job. It's very heavy once you have all your stuff int here. The back pocket for the laptop is very thin so a gaming or performance grade laptop will not fit. The main pocket is big enough for a power supply and a small lunchbox and that's it. Too small for any gym equipment.

Great to carry just what it was built and designed for... But not much else
It is a great backpack. Solid and sturdy, but also have the right amount of padding to keep everything inside safe. The only downside I would say is that it is so structured that if you want to carry anything large other than papers or a laptop (a lunchbox for example), the structure of the bag makes it hard to fit.
