Crockpot I Can Make That in My Slow Cooker

This book is mostly worthless. Most of the recipes require you to basically cook the whole meal, then place it in the slow cooker for an hour to an hour and a half. Who has the time to cook for a solid 1-2 hours prepping for the slow cooker? Kinda defeats the purpose of what the overall idea of the slow cooker was made for. One of the recipes even requires that you only "slow cook" it for 30 minutes! Our slow cooker's timer doesn't go less than an hour! Don't waste your time with this book. Move on and get a different one.

While this book has a lot of fun and different recipes than the usual crockpot cookbook, I wouldn't say it's filled with never thought of ideas. I expected a few more recipes for things out of the ordinary. Still, it is a refreshing change from the average stew type meals you often find when looking at slow cooker recipes.
