It smells horrible but works wonders
I’ve tried a lot of options, but this one works best for me so far. After using it, I look like I’ve just had Botox??? My forehead feels firmer, softer and it actually makes a difference. The glue is gentle on the skin, stays in place overnight, and doesn’t cause any damage when you remove it in the morning. That said, keep in mind I’m 29, don’t have deep wrinkles or mimic lines, and have been getting Botox since I was 26. This product works more on muscle tension or that fatigue look you have. However, the smell is awful. I went to bed wearing these, and my husband asked if I forgot to take a bath. I found out it’s because they’re made from natural starches to help them stick to your skin. I asked it on tiktok and found out you can apply them with rose water or add a bit of essential oil once they’re dry to help. once it is dry the smell is not too horrible but it is still BAD. If you have a big forehead you will use a lot of patches so it might not be economical. I have a small forehead and I use 3 patches, one diamond and 2 triangles. I can tell you this works, but it is expensive.

Questionable
The smell is interesting, if you told me I have have a dog chew stuck to my head I would believe you..the smell also lingers on your fingers. Once you get past that they aren't particularly hard to put on your skin, wet them and hold them in place. So yes, they are sticky, and sturdy, not sure they are any good. But probably haven't used them long enough to actually notice.Expensive for some smelly sticky paper

Weird - but also rather wonderful
It's difficult to know where to start with reviewing these things. I've tried any number of eye pads/patches/treatments, etc which are supposed to minimise lines. The good news is that Frownies are miles cheaper than anything else I've seen, and once I received them, it was easy to understand why. Imagine tearing off a bit of the adhesive flap from a brown envelop, wetting it and sticking it on your face you'll get the general idea... Sophisticated these things are not. They come on a strip, with perforations, and you just tear off the bits you want (don't bother buying the different ones for eyes/forehead, they are basically exactly the same and either with do for which ever area you want). The idea is that they remove wrinkles by mechanically smoothing the skin and holding it smooth (ie, you have to stretch out the lines before you stick them on). They recommend using a special spray to dampen them, but I used tap water, which works fine. You will feel like a right idiot with them stuck all over your face and they are not very comfortable. They recommend you sleep with them on (I would suggest a time when the rest of your family is away, if you ever want to live down the ridicule), or a minimum period of 3 hours. I managed only two hours, as I found them so uncomfortable and, to be honest, was so sceptical they would do anything, decided to give up. They are not particularly easy to get off - you are meant to soak them, which I didn't do enough, so it was more like ripping off a plaster (as a bonus, you won't have to worry any more about that mono brow after you've used 'em) but - and this came as a great surprise - they really, really worked........I cannot remember the last time the skin around my eyes was so smooth and line free. Seriously. I have only literally just done the treatment, so cannot vouch for how long the effect lasts, but on this showing, I would definitely give them another go and even try to leave them on for a whole night next time. I am stunned and impressed in equal measure.

Work
They actually work. Frown lines are lessened when you first take them off. Have only used them 3 nights now - will see if in the long term they actually reduce them rather then just a temporary cosmetic effect

These smell like hell! Do not buy!!!
Bought these in a panic when I started to notice a few lines and had heard good things about them online. I was excited to try frownies, but instantly regretted them upon making them wet to stick to my face. These smell awful! Like stale breath or those strip dog chews and when you stick these to your face you will smell terrible also!! I had to look up if the smell was normal and found the owner of the company saying that some people say they smell like mint. If you buy these and you think truthfully these smell like mint, you need your nose checked or you have just always bought rotten mint and messed up toothpaste because and I stress again, these smell like absolute hell!I wish I had never bought these, I wish I had just learnt to love myself and my ageing face than buy these awful patches that don't stick that well and require a million of them stuck on top of each other to even feel like it's holding the skin taut to make any difference.Do anything than buy these, visit a dermatologist, visit an aestitician or like me, go on a self love journey because the smell of these patches aren't worth the temporary fix they promise. Straight to the bin.
