Q: Can I wash this in hot water if I don’t care about it being waterproof? I am needing to get rid of germs.

The instructions say to wash gentle cycle and cold (and air dry). I have only washed it in cold water, but many, many times. I doubt hot water would cause any problems, but the tag instructions are pretty clear.

Q: is it safe for heated seats?

Yes! Using a SeatShield with heated seats is not a problem.

Q: Will this work on airplanes?

The Allsport SeatShield measures 27.5" x 57". The fit will depend on the design of the airplane seat. We suggest you also check with the airline.

Q: Do they have for back seat?

The one I am using is for an indiviudal front seat. Not sure about the back seat.
