nothing new
I have lost weight and I manage to keep the weight off. I brought the book thinking I may get some new ideas but there is nothing new in the book I did not already know. Still if you are trying to loose weight and not sure where to start I would read this book as it is just basic common sense, which lots of people do not have when dieting.

One of the best and most informative books on losing weight
One of the best books on losing weight I've read, it sets out in various chapters the best way to alter your diet to reap benefits and in fact having attended a well know weight management weekly group it would appear that this group follows exactly what is in The Mayo Clinic book.

Mayo Clinic Diet
Very disappointed with this book. Nothing very new in it and nothing about food and dieting that many people don't already know. Boring format.
