It seems like a lot of people are upset over the lack of instructions. All you need to do is hold the button down for a few seconds until you hear a beep. Record your phrase then hit the button again and it should be recorded. Its very simple to use, even with out instructions. If you have dogs or a heavy handed cat, this could very well cause problems as your pet stepping down too long can cause it to re-record. They work well so far with my cats

So after putting batteries in my button there was already a sound from a woman in it, apparently I paid for new and got used. There is nothing wrong with the buttons but I don’t like getting a used product since I paid for a new set. Not sure why that happened, probably a return.Other then that my dog has taught us to give her a treat easily, lol.

Got these to use with my pets for button training. Issue is that you record by just keeping the button pressed down - - something a pet in training might do while they figure out how it works (or just in general). They've ended up doing little more than becoming a tripping hazard in my house. Still I guess they technically do what they're supposed to? Idk I won't be buying anymore of these kind at least.

We bought these so we could record encouraging messages for our kids to keep on their bedside table. As much as I love this idea, these particular buttons are unusable for us since it’s too easy to accidentally erase the recording. If your toddler pushes the button for more than a few seconds, the button starts recording and erases the original recording. After having to re-record our messages daily for weeks, I’m throwing these away and buying some buttons with a separate recording button.

Easy to record and use. Batteries last a long time. Toddler used to communicate “potty” for a while.

Still working on it but the product is as advertised. They could be a little louder and it would be better but I need to try to record it and make ME a little louder to see if it helps!

If you're training your dog, I do not recommend these. I have two 70lb dogs and a 35lb dog and all three will accidentally press the button so long it records over your original recording. Get a button that has a separate record button either on the side or the bottom - this one only requires a long press of the main colored button on top.Durability is great, sound quality is great. You need a mini screwdriver to install the 2x AA batteries in each button.

My children’s dog would not go to the bathroom outside. I bought this for them and within a few weeks the dog was going to the bathroom outside. We live in Arizona and I thought it was important for them to have a button for the dog for its water which the family thought they didn’t need and yet there were times the dog was out of water and it pushed the buttons. They made one button for play with me which is a dog with that often. I really didn’t know if this would work but I thought why not give it a try and it truly worked I am not lying!!!
