Q: What gives? Waterman going full China?

I was not aware this pen was made in China. It does write surprisingly well for $15. My other Waterman FPs are all made in France. My biggest disappointment was in the Waterman Perspective with terrible ink flow even after several cleanings. This Graduate is better than that pen; $175 vs $15.

Q: Does this pen take standard international short cartridges that are not proprietary?
