Everybody Loves Raymond: Season 2 [DVD]

I am not sure what is going on here, but when I purchased this item I was getting the uncut episodes. To date I have purchased the whole series because, I obviously like it. However, for some reason Amazon is cutting a good deal of the episodes out. I might as well be watching them on TV LAND for free. The Gift, I watched this morning only to find that 10 minutes of the sitcom had been removed before the intro, and this only one of the episodes out of the many that are missing parts that were there when I purchased the seasons originally.

I love this show I'm a big fan of the show The only reason I gave it such a low rating as I'm not thrilled with the fact that when I originally went to purchase this item it was a lower price and then when I went to actually purchase it the price raised I'm also not thrilled that when it came in today you could hear a DVD rattling around in the case. Luckily I can probably fix it because I can't watch these DVDs because this is a Christmas gift for somebody so likely I could probably unpackage the DVD fix the DVD and then reseal it but it's really disappointing.

Of course the show is hilarious, which is why we purchased it, but it is nice that this comes with nice, sturdy packaging and is easy to get the discs in and out. We've ordered some entire seasons/series of shows in the past that has had difficult to manage packaging. This is great!

I absolutely love this show. I was so bummed they just took it off of Netflix on September 1st. I watched it all the time. Even my 6 and 4 year old love to watch it with me. Although it is on regular tv, I prefer to watch it from my firestick when I am cleaning or doing laundry and what not and don't have access to a cable box. When I had to pick a season to buy to watch on amazon instant video until I buy more, I decided on season 2. It's so funny and there isn't an episode I don't laugh out loud at. There are so many sitcoms that just aren't suitable for young children, and this one really is. I've loved this show for a long time, and will continue to love it.

What can I say? I've been a fan of this show for years and can watch the episodes over and over again. Being of Italian descent, there are so many familiar moments similar to my own family. It's gotten to the point where my wife and I discuss the differences in the sets and background props. Amazingly, I still seem to hear a line I missed before so watching these classic shows never gets old. We call it "comfort TV".

It takes a special team--behind and in front of the cameras--to make a series that stays consistently good for nine seasons. In this, 'Everybody Loves Raymond' succeeds mightily. Even if you're on a budget (or in my case, eternal financial punishment) it's possible to build your series economically with previously-viewed dvd's, and checking out the reviews of Amazon's many sellers. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This is one of my favorite shows ever, everyone on the show is so funny, the set has 5 disc and even though I bought it used, it looks like new, the set is in excellent condition and plays very well, the case is very sturdy and adds to the collectible aspect for those who are collectors of movies and shows.This was an amazing buy and I love the show, it makes me laugh so much, even when I have watched the episodes several times.

We love wathing this series. Can't believe how much fun we are having. They just don't make shows like this anymore.

Item arrived in a timely manner, packed well and in condition as described. really love this show so was pleased to get it.

We have almost every other season of Everybody Loves Raymond and all of them come in a larger and fancier case and look much different than the case that this one came in. When we played the DVD, the quality of the picture wasn't as crisp and the picture looked wider, like it had been stretched slightly. I have included a picture showing three of the seasons that we owned previously beside the one we purchased which is shown in green. I wish we had returned it, but we had taken it out to our trailer and forgot to return it before it was too late. I'm disappointed and would not recommend this seller.

This is one of the best and funniest sitcom I've ever watched! Each character is so funny and well picked for their parts. I watched a few episodes here and there on TV, but it's so great to have them all on DVD to watch whenever I please to do so. I recommend this complete second season (and all seasons for that matter) to anyone with a good sense of humour and a great sense of family value!
