Excellent product. The glass container makes it safer to have near a stove or oven and even when camping as there's no possibility for any plastic to heat up and 'gas off' or melt. The jar is thick and sturdy, never had one break even when accidentally dropped. Took this camping to add to French toast & oatmeal. Didn't eat any oatmeal on that trip but the French toast was a hit. My recipe: sourdough bread, eggs, vanilla, milk and Simply Organic's Ceylon Cinnamon. I cooked it with ghee in a cast iron skillet on the camp stove. Yum. We love this cinnamon. It has a great texture and smell. It is also the perfect color and taste. It is blended well and is one of the highest quality ones I have found.

Ceylon Cinnamon is hard to find but is lower in coumarin than Cassia Cinnamon which is much more prevalent and less expensive. Coumarin in large quantities can be toxic, so I decided to switch to Ceylon Cinnamon. The powder is finer and the taste is less bold and more complex than that of Cassia Cinnamon. Amazon's price for this Ceylon Cinnamon is lower than I've seen elsewhere, and it is nice to have a ready source of this harder-to-find cinnamon variety.

I love the taste of Ceylon cinnamon on my desserts and in my beverages and this is high quality organic ceylon . It isn't that expensive but buying in bulk is much more economical and next time I will purchase a larger amount to reduce $/oz they wont let me edit my review

The Ceylon Cinnamon smells great. The taste however is very different from Saigon cinnamon cassia. This cinnamon tastes more pungent and spicy compared to the Saigon variety which is sweeter and tastier.My sugar cravings seem to have reduced a bit after using this in coffee and cereal. I don’t seem to miss the sugary taste in these items! I am hoping to use this cinnamon sprinkled on every meal I have! The taste needs getting used to.

This cinnamon is the BEST! I will never by the regular grocery store cinnamon again after discovering all the benefits of Ceylon cinnamon. This cinnamon tastes better, is better for you and definitely has a good effect on blood sugar levels. I will buy from this vendor again. 👍🏼
