Useful but restriction
Good thing is you can put this behind one of those big twist spray nozzles and use it to quickly and easily adjust water flow. The negative is that the ball valve in this has a rather small hole when fully open, it gives a restricted flow. Silly to buy a large diameter hose and then attachments like these that limit that maximum flow, but few buyers would think of this in advance. The dimension of the hole in the ball valve isn't a detail commonly given on Amazon products, if you care then you might need to shop local, ask sellers, or try and then do some returns. Maybe buy a valve intended for a much larger diameter hose and then adapt it with garden hose connectors. I had to fill an ibc tank by hose, and this connector saved 200 feet of walking twice but made it an unnecessarily long time to fill.

Shutoff valve for garden hose.
Came with tamper proof packaging and looks very well machined. I still have to open the second package to know if they are also in perfect condition. The first package I opened are very well made and machined and did not leak. Hopefully, the second package will be the same.I'm very happy with it.

Below expectations: Winter Break
I used these to replace a water valve and thought, confidently, this is gonna work. I screwed my hose onto it many times that summer without issue. Perfect. Winter came, and on the coldest day, I go outside and find a small pond in my backyard suitable for ice skating. And a beautiful waterfall was spraying from the newly formed crack. The new HQMPC Heavy-Duty Brass Shut-Off Valve had split. I shut off the main water because no one bothered to put a shut-off valve on the pipe leading out. I put the other new HQMPC Heavy-Duty Brass Shut-Off Valve on. Less than a month later, it had broken as well. So, for my situation, I will never buy these again. However, if you live in a winter challenged region, these will work for you.

Great product, works great
Easy to install. We bought these when washing outside of our home. Works great to turn water off and on right there. Also we leave the hose on most of the summer. These held up to the pressure just fine.

Just what I needed
High quality and heavy duty brass. Does not leak one bit. I have a leaky outdoor spigot and rather than pay a plumber $100, i just threw one of these on and problem solved. Also have one on a hose inside the house that I use to fill the aquarium. So I'm glad i got a 2 pack. Comes with 4 extra washers and a guarantee. Highly recommend if you have a need for valves. Very handy.

Works perfectly
I use one of these on a hose where the main spigot is very difficult to access. There are no leaks with this cutting off the water supply. The lever works without sticking or any issues. Couldn't ask for anything else.

hard to turn on and off, handle not as pictured. smaller and only one tab, not two.
the ball valve has a small (3/8") outlet so the volume/output is lower. the valve "handle" is very short making it hard to turn on and off.it is brass with some sort of steel nut that is rusting.Not to buy again... for me..

Works amazingly for what I wanted
I have 2 50ft hoses and I have to run back and forth to get the setting right for the sprinkler. I put this valve between the hoses and voila. No more running back and forth. It works beautifully. I saw many reviews that the valve was tough to turn. Initially this was true with mine as well. But once it was opened and closed a couple of times, there was no more issue. Came with extra washers too. Won't need those for a while. But this works great. Super price for 2 of them. 20 bucks.

Good but valve is really stiff
Overall very happy. Old shut offs were leaking. These did the job and don't leak.The only complaint is that I had to use plyers to open and close the valve the first few times. It was way to stiff to do it with your fingers. Once you work it a few times it seems to be much easier to open and close (if still slightly stiff)

Almost perfect
Had purchased one previously but the plastic knob broke off and since there are no replacements sent with them, had to throw it away and buy new ones. I tested both and they did not leak and worked perfectly. Just need to handle them with a bit more care.

Deceptively advertised.
I bought this valve because of the longer (2-pointed) operating handle clearly shown in the on line picture as the longer operating handle will make it easy to turn off. The units shipped have a short handle shown in my picture making it very difficult to shut off when under pressure. This is deceptive advertising. I will return the shipped valves before August 27th if I do not receive the valves as shown in the advertisement or new longer replacement handles.

Works great
Simple solution that works well. I use a water timer with 4 output connections and needed to slow down the flow on one of them. This does exactly what I need and I have an extra in case I need one for one of the other outputs.
