This is not selenite
There is a whole lot of misinformation/lack of education on what selenite actually is. What is in the picture is a satin spar form of gypsum, not selenite. Selenite is clear like quartz (not as hard though). Both Satin Spar and Selenite are forms of gypsum and for some reason along the line (and it could be a language thing) satin spar became almost a sub form of selenite. Just FYI. It still has the properties that are stated, however, if you are wanting selenite for cleansing etc, the actual selenite and not satin spar does a much better job.
